These aren't just drum samples. These are drums built for records.
Death Kit Vol. 1 is a collection of my personal drum sounds. These are the type of drums I reach for when I want weight, aggression and character, and they come directly from the sound I've developed throughout my years of producing records.
These aren't random sounds thrown together just to make a big drum kit.
Every sound was personally selected by me.
I could have filled this kit with hundreds of sounds just to advertise a bigger number, but that's not what Death Kit is about. I'd rather give producers 77 sounds I believe in than hundreds they'll never use.
The drums were captured through a Great River preamp for that thick, musical Neve 1073-style character and a real Universal Audio LA-2A tube compressor to bring in the warmth, weight and classic tube character of genuine analog hardware.
The processing is already part of the sound. Load them up and start creating.
